A square plaited cord called "Hirakaragumi" is used. As the cord is firm, yet flexible, it fits your hand nicely when held either straight or twisted. While the cord maintains its elasticity, it will give you a unique feeling which the round cord does not give.
It features a ring-type attachment system. The protection leather flaps are added to prevent the split rings touching and, accidentally, scratching the camera body.
